suitable for teaching in a variety of venues

Allowing an hour at the beginning to prepare your students for the study and to present an overview of the subject, along with an extra hour at the end for review and discussion, this basic course is well suited for a 13-week semester curriculum. Possible venues are shown below the photos. The modules are presented as Microsoft PowerPoint presentations in pdf format. They are designed to deliver Scriptural truth about God's design for our finances in a light and playful way. Talking about money can sometimes be boring and/or intense. The author's use of clipart in many of the slides may inject humor and keep the light tone to the presentations. Follow-up and follow-through are important in any educational setting. On-going small groups or even alumni get-togethers may allow graduates to share new perspectives, life-style changes, and their real-life stories.
College/adult SS class
Week-end conference
Two-day college seminar
The Basic Course may be presented as a 13-week adult SS class. The teacher may shorten or expand various sections of each module, depending on time constraints and discussion objectives.
The idea of a getaway for a long weekend conference or retreat (Friday evening - Sunday noon) may provide the venues for informal and small group discussions.
The Basic Course may be presented in intensive sessions in a classroom setting. Possible formats include two consecutive daytime lectures or five 2-hour evening seminars.
