A survey of scriptural teaching about money and wealth

The Holy Bible

The primary source used in developing the content of Biblical Financial Principles seminary is the Holy Bible. A goal of this teaching is to be uncompromisingly faithful to that of Scripture. The versions used in this seminar include the NIV, NLT, KJV, NASB, ESV, RSV, and others; all references are from the NIV unless noted otherwise.

Ron Blue

AUTHOR, FINANCIAL ADVISOR, CONSULTANT, COUNSELLOR
In 1970, Ron founded an Indianapolis-based CPA firm that has grown to be one of the 50 largest CPA firms in the United States. (www.blueandco.com) Leaving the CPA firm in 1977, Ron became Administrative Vice President of Leadership Dynamics International. While with Leadership Dynamics, he was involved in developing and teaching Biblically-based leadership and management seminars in the United States and Africa.

LARRY BURKETT

In 1973, Mr. Burkett joined the staff of the nonprofit Campus Crusade for Christ as a financial counselor where he met Austin Pryor, Ron Blue and other financial experts. He began an intense study of biblical teaching about handling money, and he started teaching small groups around the country.
Burkett left the campus ministry in 1976 to form Christian Financial Concepts (CFC), a nonprofit organization dedicated to teaching the biblical principles of handling money. In September 2000, CFC merged with Crown Ministries, creating a new organization, Crown Financial Ministries. He served as chairman of the board of directors until his death in 2003. Brian Kluth

Brian Kluth is the national director of NAE Financial Health, an initiative of the National Association of Evangelicals to provide solutions for pastors and churches facing economic challenges. Dave Ramsey

Dave Ramsey is an American entrepreneur, financial counselor, author, motivational speaker, radio host, podcast host, and TV personality. Motivated by his father, he became an entrepreneur when he was in school. By the time he was in college, Ramsey had ventured into several businesses. He built rental real-estate portfolios worth millions after he began his career as a licensed real-estate investor under his firm. However, a bank acquisition led him to bankruptcy, and he had to wrap up his business. After gaining a bit of financial stability, Ramsey found solace in Christianity and began a career as a financial counselor, with a Christian perspective. He eventually authored books on financial management, hosted radio and TV shows, wrote columns, and launched numerous ventures to make a name for himself as a personal finance expert. Ramsey also makes efforts to educate people on the ways of using monetary resources judiciously, through his 'Financial Peace University,' speaking in churches and community centers.
